"All grace, some field"

Films: The Gracefield Incident (2017)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Eldritch Location

Height/Weight: Twice that of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Aliens have a variety of reasons for coming to Earth. Some seek to conquer, others got isolated, and some just came to pick up something they forgot. You may not see it at first, but this impulsive being was very much here for the latter option. Just don't expect her to be soft about it.

History: Somewhere in the countryside of Gracefield, Texas, a meteorite has landed. Some guys looking for a good time, including one with a prosthetic eye complete with built-in camera, find a strange object with an odd rune on it. But not long after their discovery, something starts to create terrifying phenomena around the place. People start disappearing, some even going up in the air, and a strange figure is behind all of it. As it turns out, it's an alien, and it REALLY wants the blood of whomever took that object.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After only one is left standing, the alien finally gets its hands on the object, which is revealed to be an incubator for its baby. As parent and child reunite, the alien leaves in its massive ship, forgiving the survivor after he realizes his mistake.

Powers/Abilities: Extraordinary agility, extreme psychic powers, the ability to mentally control its hidden ship from afar.

Weakness: Unknown.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-All of the grey aliens seen so far in this decade can pack up and leave. It took several of them and their ships to terrorize some people. But this hulking version of them is a one-alien army, capable to throttling anyone in its path with either its physical prowess or its mind. That said, its motivations are extremely sympathetic, and seeing it so nurturing and forgiving near the end is an extremely welcome change of pace from other invaders. The lesson? Poor communication kills.

Trivia: -As of now, this is the only feature-length film directed by Mathieu Ratthe. A fine start, really.

-The actual Gracefield, Texas hasn't really been ground zero for notable alien encounters, though it's obvious that this film claims to be based on true stories. It's more than likely that they just looked at unrelated true stories, and plopped it all in the Lone Star State. Frankly, that alien should be thankful that it didn't end up in the Bible Belt.

Let's put this on a DVD. That outta work.

It should be the alien screaming. They just found her internet history.

Unless you hit the delete key on that.

"YEET!"
Like what's in her head.

Headcanon: That is one smoking hot dame.
They certainly know how to keep apperances.

Sure wish we had an actual camera.
